"Very difficult to find current information about what the place offers on the internet. We had to ask the locals for information. The locals are very friendly. Also some places do not take cards so you need to have cash on you, which was a bit of a problem."

"Yzerfontein has plenty of little restaurants and a brand new Spar where you can do all your shopping. It is next to a nature reserve so go and explore the beautiful and unspoilt surroundings. The beaches in and around Yzerfontein are beautiful and clean. Perhaps a bit too cold for swimming, but you can walk for miles."
