There are some nice wines to taste from vineyards in the area. I think if you were staying for longer than a weekend, Lamberts Bay would be ideal as a base to travel to the other smaller towns to vineyards there (if wine is your thing). Fryer's Cove in Doring Bay is definitely worth a visit too."
