14 The Shades is situated directly across the road from the access to the main bathing beach called Cabana Beach in Umhlanga Rocks.
The apartment comfortably sleeps 4 people in 2 bedrooms. There is a king-size bed and en-suite bathroom with shower only in the main bedroom and twin beds in the other bedroom. Quality linen and bath towels are provided. The second bedroom makes use of the separate bathroom that is fitted with a shower and a toilet. This apartment consists of a lounge, dining area and a fully fitted modern kitchen. Off the lounge are sliding doors into the garden with views of the sea. The modern kitchen has granite tops and is fully equipped with a microwave oven, under counter oven and hob, as well as a dishwasher and tumble dryer. The apartment has a TV with DStv channels and is air-conditioned in the kitchen, living- and dining area and there are ceiling fans in the bedrooms.
There is a stunning communal swimming pool for the exclusive use of residents and there is also a launderette in the complex. Umhlanga Rocks is one of the most sought after holiday destination in South Africa, whilst still retaining its unique seaside village feel. The world heritage site of Lake St Lucia, the Umfolozi and Hluhluwe Game Parks and the majestic Drakensberg Mountains are all within easy reach from Umhlanga Rocks.
