Baramee Country Cottage offers self-catering accommodation and is situated on a peaceful 20-hectare farm, approximately 11 km from Underberg. The farm boasts 3 small bass dams and amazing views of the Drakensberg in the distance.
The cottage is made of 3 shipping containers and can accommodate up to 5 guests, and consists of 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom. The first bedroom is furnished with a queen-size bed, and the second bedroom is equipped with 2 single beds. The shared bathroom has a shower, a basin, and a toilet. The container holiday home has an open-plan kitchenette that contains a a fridge, a microwave, a 2-plate gas stove, a kettle, and a toaster.
The adjacent lounge has a wood-burning fireplace and a single sleeper couch for a child, and leads out to a patio that features outdoor furniture and a braai facility. On the other side of the cottage, there is an open-air enclosed bathroom that contains a cast-iron bath; a solar-powered geyser provides hot water.
The cottage offers lovely views of the farm. The farm also boasts plenty of bird life and a few farm animals. Activities to do in and around Underberg include hiking, fishing, trail running, mountain biking, tubing and much more.
