Heaven on earth. The house was built with containers which was unique. Has a nice view of the mountains and the pond, and ducks add great value. We really enjoyed the outdoor bath. It feels like you are alone on earth - no man made sounds - just animal sounds and thousands of stars.

We asked the owner till what time the tractor would be busy and she said unfortunately. I didn't enjoy my stay. 1. The house looked unkempt and in poor condition. Not looked after. As you enter the gate, the door of the house couldn't open properly. 2. The shower was leaking and dripped on the bathroom floor near the toilet, which meant that your feet were in a puddle when you used the toilet. 3. The bathroom door didn't have a handle on the inside, which means everyone could see you in the toilet because you have to leave it open to open the door. So undignified. 4. The plants looked dry on the stoep; couldn't they at least water it for our welcome? 5. We had a tractor lifting soil in front of our shack from the morning at 8 till we couldn't stand it anymore, which was at 2 pm, and went to town. It made the worst noise. Homely and tranquil. The hostess was warm and welcoming. The land was surrounded by fields, with sheep and cows in the distance. The front porch overlooked a tiny lake with a view of beautiful mountaintops. There were a few insects after sunset, as expected in this location; however, with doors and windows closed, none were in the home.

Clean and beautiful and restful. Loved the dam and wildlife of birds with the farm appeal, the baby sheep were too cute. Felt very welcome.
