House Rules

Please note that the majority of the roads in Namibia are regularly graded gravel roads.
A 4-wheel drive vehicle with high ground clearance is recommended in order to drive to Cape Cross.
Due to it's remoteness, no cleaning services are available. The house will be cleaned before your arrival.
Water is either from lodge or trucked in, so please be sensitive with level of use in our desert country.
Electricity is powered by wind/generators at Lodge, and is only on only at peak times. Approximately 06:00 - 09:00 and 12:00 - 15:00.
Candles as well as wood for lounge fire and charcoal for braai will be provided; but as with camping, you are advised to bring extra in case these run out.
