Breakage Deposit

A refundable breakage deposit of R650 is payable directly to the property.

House Rules

The TVs in the downstairs bedroom and the large upstairs bedroom are connected to the TV in the lounge and will display the same programs as the lounge TV. Guests are kindly asked not to tamper with the settings or attempt to change them. If any tampering is detected, the cost of a technician will be deducted from the breakage deposit. The TV in the small upstairs bedroom is set up with Openview and is primarily used for kids to watch movies from a USB stick.

To save electricity, guests are requested to switch on the geyser for only one hour in the early evening or morning. The box is located next to the downstairs bedroom door. This will provide hot water for the entire next day. Guests should ensure that it is switched off when they leave.

The gas braai is currently unavailable. However, guests have the option of using charcoal in the Weber or the wood braai outside.

The stove oven is not functioning, so an air fryer has been provided for guests' convenience.

Guests are asked to leave the house in the same condition they found it.

This is a non-smoking unit.

Music and other noise are prohibited after 22:00, as there are elderly residents who live in the resort permanently. The resort committee reserves the right to remove any troublemakers.

Guests should keep windows closed when going out, as monkeys may steal food. Additionally, as it is snake season, doors should be kept closed.

Upon departure, guests are requested to take their garbage with them and dispose of it in the container just outside the main gate.

All books and videos are recorded, and any missing items, breakages, or damages will be deducted from the breakage deposit.

The maximum number of people allowed in the house, according to resort rules, is 6. If this rule is not followed, the resort will require guests to vacate the premises.

Additional guests beyond the booked number will be charged additionally per person, per night.

The load-shedding schedule will be forwarded to guests.

The deck is intended for enjoying the stunning scenery, not as a play area for children. It is very dangerous, as a fall could be disastrous. The main rail is currently a bit loose and will be repaired soon.

Guests are required to provide their own swimming towels.
