House Rules

It will be arranged with guests on the check-in date where to pick up keys and hand them in again on the morning of the check-out date.

The geyser needs to be switched on on arrival at the power box and switched off when guests depart. The fridge should not be set to maximum, this causes the bottom drawer freezer to freeze up.
There is a laundry with washing machines and tumble dryer facilities available on the lower floor in the right wing, which operates with 3 x R5 coins.

The unit will be cleaned after the check-out date, but guests should leave the unit as tidy as possible, which includes the balcony barbecue, ash, and kitchen trash.

The unit will be available at 14:00 on the check-in date, and guests must vacate by 10h00 on the check-out date unless an arrangement is made with the owner in advance.

Please keep all furniture, including the apartment remote and access tags for the gate in its place as found on the check-in date.

Guests should please bring their own bath and shower towels However, guests who travel for work can request bath towels.

The owners of De Valle 57 will not be held responsible for the loss of any belongings or valuable articles/items.

Indemnification: The owner, agents, legal person of De Valle Security Complex & De Valle 57 will not be held liable for any injuries, loss of life, or any other claims arising or resulting from any accident that the tenant or guests, his or her family, or further guests do not overcome.

Parents must supervise their children at all times within the unit & grounds of the De Valle Security Complex.

If the Complex regulations are not respected, the owners reserve the right to ask guests to vacate the unit on the same day. Any further costs to remove guests will be for the guests' account. The right of access is reserved by the owners of De Valle 57.

No laundry or towels may be hung over balcony arrangements. Please use the laundry drying rack provided.

Guests should please empty the trash regularly and on the day of check-out and throw the garbage into the communal trash cans in the parking area.

This is strictly a non-smoking unit, smoking is allowed outside on the balcony, but we ask that all cigarette butts be thrown in a bin, and not shot over the balcony.

Only a gas braai is allowed for the braai on the balcony according to complex rules. The communal braai facilities by the swimming pool allow wood.


No parties or large social gatherings may be held in the unit. The capacity of the unit is 4 adults and 2 children.

All crockery must be kept inside the unit, except braai tools in the event that there is a braai at the communal braai. It is the guests' responsibility to make sure all tools are returned to the unit.

We are allowed a maximum of 1 vehicle and 1 trailer per booking. Visitor parking is available on a first-come, first-served basis.

No pets are allowed on the premises or inside the unit - according to complex rules and regulations.

The guest booking the unit must be the same guest occupying the unit, no bookings are booked on behalf of someone else without prior permission from the owner.
