House Rules

Smoking in the unit is prohibited. Please use the ashtray and rubbish bin for the butts. Please do not scatter cigarette butts or throw them in the field. It's a risk for wildfires.

Only soft music is allowed, if the neighbors can hear it it is too loud.

All open fires must be extinguished if not supervised. The accommodation borders the Big 5 Dinokeng Nature Reserve and must abide by and comply with their regulations.

Game drives are not allowed on the farm.
Most paths can be used by cycling, walking or jogging. Please note that there are 3 farms that have been opened and that guests must consider the other owners' private property.

The accommodation uses septic tanks for the toilets. Please do not flush any foreign objects or sanitary products down the toilet. This also includes cotton balls, napkins and facial cleansing cloths. A small bin is provided for this purpose, please use the bin.

Please note that wildlife roams freely. Please do not feed or disturb them. Remember, these are still wild animals.

Please note that there are poisonous snakes on the farm. The most common are the Mozambican spitting cobra, snub-nosed cobra, tree snake, black mamba and puff adder. There are also other snakes in the area. Guests must please watch where they walk and try to stay on the paths.

There are spiders, bees, scorpions, bats and insects found in the woodland. Guests must bring the necessary medication with them just in case.

The farm has quite a few lizards and geckos. Please don't hurt them, they help keep the mosquitoes at bay.

Please do not litter.

When there is damage to the premises, equipment, furniture or linen, it will be guests' responsibility to replace them.

Guests must please look after the unit as their own.

The unit works with solar power which provides enough power for basic needs. The solar panels will recharge the batteries from time to time and then guests may be able to hear the fan. Also, please do not tamper with this system. Due to the fact that the unit is solar-powered, there is no capacity for electrical appliances. For example: heaters, hair dryers, hair straighteners, irons etc. Note that there is no Eskom backup power.

Please work sparingly with the water, water is precious.

The owners of this accommodation accept no liability for any injury, loss, damage, theft or inconvenience caused to guests during their stay. The use of any amenities or facilities is at your own risk. It is recommended that guests keep their own valuables and documents safe and obtain appropriate insurance for their property. By using this accommodation, guests agree to release the owners from any claims, demands, losses, actions or damages of any kind that may arise out of or in connection with their stay
