Peaceful and relaxing. We enjoyed it a lot. Lawrence, the caretaker, was so helpful and welcoming. I would recommend lights be installed going down to the boathouse; once the sun sets, you can see nothing going down there. We got in lots of exercise, but it was all worth it. Future guests should know that it is in the wild, so be prepared for all the bugs; there are a lot. I would also recommend that an air conditioner be installed in the main room, as the rooms get very hot.

Nice quiet holiday home for friends over Easter weekend with lots of water sports on the river. We had a great barbecue inside or outside and actually didn't drive much to town. We were just far enough out that it was quiet and nice. The house is also far enough from the river that no accidents can happen with children, but close enough that you are on the river at least two to three times a day. There is so much to do that we couldn't get to everything. Unbelievably nice and relaxed.
