Description

Heron's Haven is a beautifully restored cottage from the late 1800s, showcasing the typical style of the region with yellow wood beams and a high-pitched roof. Nestled on the wetland in the picturesque town of Wakkerstroom, this charming house offers a tranquil stay surrounded by nature and stunning views of the wetland and distant mountains.

The self-catering cottage can accommodate 6 guests and comprises 3 en-suite bedrooms. The main bedroom is furnished with a queen-size bed and an en-suite bathroom with a bath, washbasin, and toilet. The second room has a double bed fitted with a shower, washbasin, and toilet, while the third bedroom is furnished with a king-size bed and an en-suite bathroom fitted with a shower and toilet.

The rustic living area includes a fully equipped kitchen with a fridge, microwave, cutlery and crockery, dishwasher, stove, oven, toaster, coffee machine, and tea and coffee-making facilities.

The lounge area features plenty of comfy seating and a dining table for shared meals. There is also a cosy nook for gathering in front of the coal stove during winter.
