Houseboat Hire
Description
Each 7.8-metre boat can accommodate 2 adults and a maximum of 2 kids. Each boat has a cabin that has a bedroom furnished with a double pull-out bed and a single pull-out bed for a child. A child-only bunk mattress is also available at the dining table. The small bathroom compartments are fitted with hot-water showers, basins, and Porta Potty toilets. A sliding door provides privacy between the main area and the bedroom cabin. Each boat also has a kitchenette area that is equipped with a mini-camp fridge, a 2-plate gas stove, and a wash-up area. The boats also have deck areas, where guests can sunbathe on or catch fish from.

House Rules
A refundable security deposit must be paid on arrival. This can be paid by credit card, authorization on a credit card must be given; this can take up to 5 working days to release after departure. The amount is not payable by debit card, cash, or EFT. The security deposit can only be done at reception on arrival. On departure, the management will reverse this transaction, less the fuel used and damages, if any.
Guests will be required to accept the full terms and conditions as provided by Houseboat Hire upon arrival.
Please inform management of late arrivals after 17:00. No boarding will be permitted after 19:30.
Please note a fishing permit is needed, and can be bought from a Post Office.
A skipper's license is not required to book. If you are without a skipper's license, you can do a practical exam on arrival and you will be issued a Restricted Interim Certificate of Competence. This is a temporary license for the houseboats.
