We love this place! We have been visiting Inkosana since 2014 when Ed was still the owner. It is one of our favourite places because of the location and the setting. I really like what the new management has done to the lodge and the property. Everything is very neat and clean. We stayed in a rondavel with en-suite bathroom. I love how you can just walk out your door into the wild garden in front of the rondavels with spectacular mountain views. Next time we will try one of the glamping tents. They look fantastic and we prefer to self-cater. Unfortunately, this option is no longer available if you stay in the lodge. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. My only negative feedback would be regarding the restaurant. Even though the food was tasty and it is conveniently located on the property, we felt that the prices were much too high for the quantity of food given.

Very good service, friendly and helpful staff. We were kindly received. The peaceful atmosphere immediately made us relax after a long drive. We found the lodge easily and it was nice and close to the Drakensberg Boys' School, where we wanted to be.

Very nice and neat. Nice stay. Friendly staff and delicious pizzas and breakfast. We stayed in cabin no 8. Very neat and comfortable.

Lovely surroundings and lots to see and do. When we arrived there was no one at reception and my husband went to call someone in the kitchen. We were then informed that the "geyser" of the rondavel we booked was broken, but they "upgraded" us to one of the rooms. We did request that if they get it right, we would like to move. We were then in a family room with a double bed and 2 bunk beds, which is part of the lodge. Room was very tight for the two of us, so I really don't know how a family of 4 with luggage will fit in there. We were disappointed, we wanted to stay away from the lodge in the rondaweltjie. No toilet roll holder and no shelf/box in the bathroom where you could unpack your bathroom bag. No small fridge to keep a bottle of wine cold. For the price of the room, such basic things should be there. We booked late so our options were limited, however the difference in price for the basic rondavel we booked versus if we were to go now is R320.00 per night! For a basic places without TV/fridge etc. is it a lot! I think their "off season" prices are more in line with what you get. Little lady who works in kitchen checked us out again, she mentioned that the manager is sick. It's a lovely setting though, and we sat outside a lot. The sunset at the natural pool is beautiful.

Neat and clean. Within a nice area and good location. Rooms are clean and neatly furnished and meet the basic requirements for an overnight stay while we are travelling. We were 3 families staying overnight - not much to do on site. Not allowed to bring any booze but the 'Bar' was very disappointing and only had 1 rare beer and wine. There were builders on site who also stayed overnight and made noise late into the evening. This caused our room to be without hot water the next morning, which was a big problem for our family with children. The meals are a fixed menu and we couldn't choose ourselves, so some people didn't eat everything. The rooms are neat and there is no fault, but attention is needed to make it more attractive in the future.

Excellent. Compliments to the chef and staff. Food was out of this world. Could have a kettle in the rondavel for coffee in the mornings.
