Description
Karusa's Family Farm Cottage is located in the heart of the Cango Valley on the Vogelsang farm in Schoemanshoek, next to the R26 route to the world-famous Cango Caves. This cottage offers fantastic mountain and landscape views between the orchards and is ideal for a simple, peaceful getaway from the hustle and bustle of the city.
The cottage can accommodate 4 guests, comprising 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom. The main bedroom is furnished with a double bed and the second is furnished with a bunk bed. These bedrooms share a bathroom fitted with a shower, basin, and toilet.
The kitchen is equipped with a 2-plate gas stove, fridge-freezer, cutlery, crockery, and other cooking utensils as well as tea-and coffee-making facilities.
Other amenities include an indoor braai, dining area, and lounge with comfortable seating. There is a patio with outdoor furniture, a hammock, and a portable braai outside. The lawn is spacious with a lovely pepper tree for a picnic under the stars on summer evenings.
Activities on the farm include a 5 km hiking trail, The Vineyard View Trail, through the vineyards and orchards, and a 26 km mountain bike trail on the back roads of Schoemanshoek.
