Tucked away in the bush, Buffalo Thorn is a charming self-catering cottage located approximately 24 km from Magaliesburg offering an intimate escape for the whole family or friends seeking rest and relaxation in tranquil surroundings.
This lovely cottage can accommodate 6 guests and comprises 2 bedrooms and a bathroom. Each bedroom is furnished with a double bed and a single bed. These bedrooms make use of a bathroom fitted with a bath. Quality linen and bath towels are provided; however, guests are required to bring their own swimming towels.
The open-plan living area features a lounge, a dining area and a kitchen. The kitchen is equipped with a gas stove, oven, fridge-freezer, tea- and coffee-making facilities and cutlery and crockery. The dining area is furnished with a dining table suitable for 3 guests. The lounge is furnished with a comfortable lounge suite, a single sleeper couch, a coffee table and a fireplace.
Savour a delightful al fresco dining experience on the patio, while being captivated by bushveld views. Swimming in the farm reservoir is available, overlooking the valley. This is the ideal spot to keep cool and enjoy the beautiful views. Spend the evenings gazing into the spectacular night skies. Access to secure parking is available.
The cottage is off grid supplying solar power. Therefor only laptops and cell phones may be charged. No appliances such as hair driers, coffee grinders and big screen monitors may be used.
