Thank you for your feedback and for bringing the balcony doors to our attention, we have had maintenance around now to oil the doors they are much easier to slide open as they should always be.

With regards to the other doors are you referring to the bedroom doors. We were not aware that there was an issue, however, maintenance went around and the doors do seem to be a bit swollen and advised this is most likely due to the apartment being situated on the beach. This has also been seen to now.

I am so pleased to hear that you enjoyed your stay with us. I do apologise again for the noise disturbances. We have put in a few complaints in this regard already, as the building is very strict, and they actually fine people for this. Thank you for the suggestion of the trolley; it is actually available from the hotel side. They do allow guests from the apartment side to make use of the bag trolleys; they are usually behind the reception desk, but if not, the security guards are usually more than happy to go get one. I have made a note to mention it to our hosts to inform them to mention this to our guests.

Thank you for bringing the issue with the lamps to our attention, our maintenance team is now looking into it.

Regarding the TV, it is a Smart TV and it seems the Smart Hub Function was not working due to an incorrect time and date. This has now been corrected, and the TV is functioning normally. I apologise that this was not checked during your check-in with the host. I have made the management aware, and they will take the necessary steps to avoid a similar situation in the future.

Goeiedag Elmarie, dankie vir jou terugvoer met betrekking tot jou verblyf. Ons waardeer alle terugvoer, want dit help ons om die diens wat ons bied te verbeter. Ek het na die deposito-terugbetaling vir jou gekyk en sal seker maak dat dit vinnig verwerk word. Ek is baie jammer vir die vertraging met betrekking tot terugbetaling. Ek hoop dat jy jou verblyf geniet het en wil jou weer bedank vir jou terugvoer. Ons hoop om jou binnekort terug te verwelkom.

Hallo Celeste, ek is bly julle het julle verblyf geniet. Ons streef daarop om net beter te wees en daarom waardeer ons u voorstelle vir verbetering om beter as 'n 3-ster te kan wees? Ons sien baie uit na u voorstelle en om u binnekort weer te huisves. Ons is in die proses om plafonwaaiers te installeer. Sien gou weer - Groete Yolandi

It is always disappointing receiving feedback like this but guest feedback is always valued and we thank you for that. The check-in was conducted with your daughter Kirstyn as you were travelling from PE and still had to pick up your other daughter from Stellenbosch so not sure why you would say the check-in procedure took 1 hour. We motivate and ask guest to please read all documentation regarding your booking to ensure you complete and send back all required info and forms before check-in to avoid a lengthy check-in that takes up to around 30 min if not done prior to check-in. The check-in form is a short online form for ease of completion and not having to print, complete, scan and send back. Also note, that the check-in host takes photos of the apartment in the best interest of everyone to ensure when claims are put in on check out that photos can be reviewed to sustain or decline the claim. We regret that your concerns raised on your review about the apartment not being cleaned properly, things that stopped working or fused was not reported during your stay to allow us the opportunity to action the necessary and ensure you a pleasant stay. I hope someday you would revisit our apartment and offer us the opportunity to host you again. We wish you a wonderful rest of 2021 and hope to see you someday soon again.
