Description
Lalandi 14 is a luxury self-catering unit with a sea view, situated in Langstrand. Located in the Lalandi Complex, the unit is safe with good security.
The holiday cottage has 3, en-suite bedrooms with crisp white linen and comfortable beds. The main bedroom is fitted with a king-size, extra-long bed and the second bedroom has a double bed. The third bedroom is fitted with 2 single beds and each bedroom has its own, en-suite bathroom fitted with a shower, toilet and basin. Crisp white towels are provided. All bedding linen and towels are supplied with spare sets and washing and cleaning of the unit can be arranged on request.
The open-plan kitchen is equipped with a dishwashing machine, coffee maker and various other appliances guests will need for a care-free, self-catering stay. The lounge has comfortable seating and walks out onto the sundeck with a mobile braai. There is a laundry room complete with washing machine and tumble drier for guests' convenience.
The unit features a smart TV in the living room. Wi-Fi is available.
From the large wooden deck, the beach is visible and a short 50-metre walk will get your right on the white sand.
Experience the fresh West Coast air on the sundeck while having a "braai". A walk/drive to the long sandy beaches and the natural beauty of the sand dunes, right at your doorstep is also a great alternative for those more active.
Langstrand is situated right in the middle between Swakopmund and Walvis Bay, with a 15-kilometre drive to both. Catch fish and crayfish, experience surf and ski-boat fishing, do quad-biking and sand-boarding in the dunes. Go on a boat cruise, take on a camel-ride, practice your swing on the golf course or do a scenic charter flight over the dunes and ocean.
For the very adventurous, there is paragliding and abseiling available. Both Swakopmund and Walvis Bay have various, lovely restaurants to choose from as well as a multitude of activities.
Just a 2-minute walk from the unit is the beachfront restaurant Eric's Cove where oysters and champagne are always on the menu. Right in front of the restaurant, is a safe beach and a tidal pool and play area for the kids.
After a hearty meal, guests can take a walk on the jetty.
Please note that there is an inactive construction site next to the establishment. It doesn't obstruct the ocean-view. There are no construction workers on-site.
