There is a 15 km gravel road leading to the Mountain Chalets from the reception - this road needs a 4x4 vehicle, however, the lodge provides transport for guests staying in the Mountain Chalets.
Please note there is no electricity at the cottages, only limited recharging for cell phones are available.

Description
Tierklip Farmhouse can accommodate 12 adults and 4 children. The house comprises 3 bedrooms and one bathroom and 2 additional bedrooms outside the house with 2 bathrooms available for these rooms outside. The first 2 bedrooms are each furnished with a double bed and a bunk bed. Guests can enquire to accommodate children on these bunk beds. The third and fourth bedrooms are each furnished with a double bed, while the remaining 2 bedrooms, separate from the house, are each furnished with 2 single beds. The 2 bathrooms outside the house are each fitted with a shower and toilet, of which one is an outdoor shower and toilet. The house comprises a lounge, kitchen, dining area, and fireplace. The kitchen is equipped with a fridge, oven and stove, and microwave. Outside is a boma with braai facilities. The farmhouse has access to a farm dam that has been cleaned and serves as a swimming pool. It does not resemble an urban swimming pool.
