Description

Marlu Farm Stay is located at the foothills of the Groot River Mountains, near Steytlerville in the Eastern Cape. The Groot River runs right through the farm. Marlu is ideally suited for father and son as well as team-building weekends for businesses and schools.

The private campsite is unique as only one reservation at a time is allowed. Irrespective of the group size, this campsite is booked on a first come first serve basis and offers silence, space and serenity.

Our 3-course dinner is available at an extra cost for all camping guests. A menu is available should you be interested. All dishes are homemade and prepared by your hosts Martin and Lucia. Meals are served at the main house. A cash bar is also available with dinner only. Guests must make reservations in advance. We also serve breakfast. Preserved items, braai packs and freshly baked products can also be ordered in advance.

We are conveniently located halfway between Steytlerville and Willowmore, only 7 km off the R329, with easy access for sedan cars. The farm is roughly equidistant from Gqeberha (Port Elizabeth), Jeffreys Bay, Knysna, Oudtshoorn, Beaufort West and Graaff-Reinet, which makes it an ideal base from which to explore the attractions of the Baviaans region of the Karoo.
