Mountain Splendour Eco-Resort Campsites

Description

The Camping/Caravan Sites can accommodate 8 guests and have 60 campsites available. All the camping or caravan sites are spacious and grassed or on a gravel patch that is level. It is well shaded and each site has its own braai and electrical point. These sites have access to communal laundry facilities, a freezer space, as well as a gas and firewood shop. There are communal hot-water ablution facilities that are fitted with a shower, toilet and wash basin.

Rates displayed are on a camping basis, and guests are required to bring along their own equipment.

House Rules

Indemnity forms must be read and signed by all guests.

The arrival time is 2:00 pm and the departure time is 10:00 am.
Early arrival or late departure times may be allowed in low season only and by prior arrangement.

General Resort Rules:
Children under 10 years must be accompanied by an adult in the ablutions.
Please leave the ablutions as you would like to find them.
Smoking is prohibited in all log cabins, safari tents, glamping tents, ablutions and pavilions.
Maximum of 8 persons per caravan/camping site.
Maximum of 6 persons per self-catering unit.
A minimum stay of 2 nights is required for all sites during mid and high season.
Minimum 2-night stay in all self-catering units and tents.
No loud noise, music, or other disturbances will be tolerated at any time of the day. Any noise heard beyond your site or self-catering unit is considered a disturbance.
Absolute silence after 10:00 pm.
No music is to be played from vehicles at any time.
Only music organised by management is allowed in public areas.
No fires are allowed on the ground or in open spaces.
No pets allowed. Guests will be fined R200 per day per pet.
All flora and fauna are protected by law. Do not pick the flowers.
No off-road motorbikes, quad bikes, or other motorised recreational modes of transport are to be ridden on the property.
No washing of vehicles, bicycles, or caravans with hosepipes.
The hosts strongly recommend that mountain bikers (of all ages) wear helmets at all times when riding on the various tracks. Guided rides and races have a strict “no helmet - no ride” policy.
No bikes, rollerblades, or skateboards are allowed on the tennis courts.
Right of admission reserved.
No firecrackers or fireworks are allowed on the property.
