Karoo farm, fresh air, quiet peace, quiet, pure farm. We really enjoyed staying at the accommodation. It is only about half way to Kgalagadi from Cape Town. There is no 220V (that we knew of) but there are lights and a fantastic ice/freezer which apparently runs on wind/solar/battery power. We grilled delicious lamb chops and ribs (just bought a whole lamb from De Kraal Slaghuis in Brandvlei) in the fresh Karoo air. We would love to stay at the Karooplaas again.

It's close enough to the town and just off the main road between Kenhardt and Brandvlei on a beautiful Boesmanland farm.
