Fabulous stopover and highly recommended. Over Karoo is a very comfortable, beautifully appointed and equipped establishment with everything that we could have wished for. It has a lovely garden setting, aircon, ceiling fan, and lovely quirky imaginative furnishings and fittings. Janine is an attentive and lovely hostess, and Over Karoo is a minutes' walk from all the bars, restaurants, and coffee shops in Barrydale. Wonderful value and highly recommended.

We stayed for 3 days, could easily have stayed here for a week. The accommodation was perfect. Everything you need, from toothpicks to electric blankets, is provided. The unit is tastefully decorated and is a feast for the eyes. We had a great stay and will definitely stay here again.
