Excellent, definitely a repeat visit. This is a special place, private, clean and well maintained. The biggest plus is the splash pool which is a delight in the heat. The bird life is incredible and a birdwatcher's paradise. You can't help but sit on the porch until late at night and listen to the animal sounds. We saw more wildlife from our porch than the times we drove through Dinokeng ourselves.

Wonderful stay at Owl Spot Lodge. This was our second stay at Owl Spot Lodge. We again enjoyed a wonderful, peaceful stay, this time in Grass Owl. The accommodation is beautiful, spotlessly clean and very well equipped; the attention to detail is evident. The garden area was very well maintained. We enjoyed watching animals from the patio and the abundant variety of birdlife that visited the garden. We also enjoyed the game drive; our guide was very knowledgeable and we saw many animals including a hyena and a cheetah, which was very special. We will definitely return to Owl Spot, which is a home from home experience. Owl Spot was an excellent choice of venue. The units were very well equipped, clean and spacious. Evenings braaing and watching the wildlife around the water hole was wonderful. We also booked a game drive, and Andrew was very friendly and helpful, including organising wood and making sure we had everything we needed. He is an asset to Owl Spot.
