House Rules

There is no electricity; please bring along sufficient lighting.

Generators are not allowed.

The property features 3 bathrooms with gas geysers and solar lights.

There is no pool, but guests may swim in the river.

The property is fully fenced with game fencing, and as it borders a river, children and dogs must be kept in sight at all times.

Management cannot be held liable for any unexpected noise from neighbouring establishments.

Being in the bush comes with ticks, so guests should ensure that they and their dogs are protected. It is recommended to bring along Tabard and Doom.

There is no shelter in case of rain, so guests should consider bringing umbrellas and a gazebo.

Wood and ice are not sold on the property; however, there is a SPAR located 1.4 km from Poplar Grove.

Please be advised that no parties, loud music, or noise are allowed. Guests are asked to respect their camping neighbours.

Dogs must be socialised; aggressive or unfriendly dogs are not permitted.

Fishing is prohibited as people and dogs swim in the river.

No littering is allowed; please use the bins provided.

Guests are asked to bring bags to pick up after their dogs.

Ensure that dogs' vaccinations are up to date.
