Located in Clarens, at the foothills of the towering Maluti and Rooiberg Mountains, Ridge Road Estate offers comfortably furnished self-catering accommodation just off the R711.
The accommodation comprises The Country House which can accommodate 12 guests or the Windmill Cottage which can accommodate 6 people.
The multi-story Country House is an award-winning beautiful French-style farmhouse that comprises 6 bedrooms, 5 bathrooms, and an open-plan kitchen and living area. Each bedroom contains a king-size bed, and in 4 of the bedrooms, the beds can be reconfigured to single beds on request. There are 4 bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms with showers or a bath, and toilets and 2 bedrooms share the use of a bathroom fitted with a shower.
The Windmill Cottage is a Karoo-style cottage built on solid rock and comprises 3 bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms, and an open-plan kitchen and living area. The bedrooms are furnished with queen-size beds and have en-suite bathrooms with a bath or a shower.
Each of the units has a kitchen that is fully equipped for self-catering with a stove, a fridge, a microwave, and ample cutlery and crockery. TVs with selected DStv channels are also available in all the units.
Guests can cool down in private pools, and make use of the available braai facilities. Pets are welcome with prior arrangements, at an additional cost.
