SANParks Natures Valley Rest Camp
Description
The rest camp also offers 65 campsites, surrounded by indigenous forest. They are all set in the shade and shelter of magnificent indigenous trees. A maximum of 6 campers, 1 caravan with a side tent and 1 vehicle, or 1 tent and 1 vehicle, or 1 autovilla or motorised caravan will be permitted per site. Extra vehicles are charged an additional fee per night. The sites do not have power. The sites have use of communal ablution facilities with electric geysers, and a laundry facility with 2 coin-operated washing machines and tumble-dryers.

Rates displayed are on a camping basis, and guests are required to bring along their own equipment. Rates include a 1% community fund.

Please note: From 1 September 2017 all visitors over 18 years old will be required to produce an identity document, passport or alternative valid identification e.g. driver’s licence card for scanning upon entering/exiting the Parks.
A standard daily conservation fee of R120 for foreign visitors, R60 for SADC nationals with a valid passport, and R60 for South African Citizens and Residents with ID, will be required on entry to the park.

Gate Times: 06:00 - 18:00
Security: 18:00 - 07:00
Late arrivals: Keys will be left at gates for overnight visitors arriving after 18h00 (prior arrangements should be made for late arrivals).
Roller blades and skateboards are prohibited.
No bait, shells, driftwood or any other organism, living or dead, may be removed from the Garden Route National Park.
Pets are not allowed in a national park.
The use of drones inside (and over) our national parks is strictly prohibited.
For the camping sites:

Cancelling or downgrading of a reservation 45 days or less prior to, or on, arrival will result in cancellation fees according to a sliding scale, based on the total reservation cost, which varies between 50% and 100%.
Description
The Forest Huts each contain 2 single beds, a heater, and tea- and coffee-making facilities, and are fitted with standard 3-point electric plugs. Each hut has its own braai facility. The Forest Huts have use of a shared communal well-equipped kitchen, and ablution facilities.

The 2 semi-detached Chalets each sleep 3 guests. The chalets are open-plan and have their own bathroom, fully equipped kitchen and living area. The bedroom area contains 2 single beds. The bathroom contains a shower, a toilet, and a washbasin. There is a sleeper couch in the living area suitable for 1 adult or 2 children. The kitchen is well-equipped for self-catering and includes a stove and oven, fridge-freezer, microwave, kettle and toaster. The living area opens to a deck with outdoor furniture, a braai facility, and lagoon views. Open parking is available next to the chalet.
