Sherewood Lodge is a boutique guest house situated in Shere, Pretoria, offering 10 individually designed rooms and 2 conference venues. The lodge is characterized by lush vegetation of Fever, Rock Fig, Karee and Acacia trees, which give the landscape a breath-taking quality of natural beauty.
The Thatched guest house and cottages are designed in an urban-rustic style with warm African colours and natural materials of stone, wood and slate which create an atmosphere of complete peace with the natural surroundings.
Sherewood Lodge boast wonderful entertainment areas under the trees on wooden decks as well as private gazebo's tucked away between natural rocks and trees.
Sherewood Lodge can accommodate 40 delegates in our well appointed conference room. We also have a exquisite 50 seater venue that is ideal for small intimate and romantic functions or weddings. Furthermore we have a wonderful boma area where you can relax under the stars.
Although being nestled within the green landscapes of Shere, the lodge is conveniently close to shopping centre's, hospitals, golf courses & tourist attractions .
The lodge is conveniently close to the N1 and N4, offering easy access to the bigger Pretoria area, the urban hub of Johannesburg and OR Tambo International Airport.
Sherewood promises visitors an escape from the hustle and bustle of the city to a wonderful ‘Sebesebe’ experience, Sotho word for rest, peace, tranquillity.
