House Rules
There is a hall for functions and parties at the Bungalows, that can be rented out additionally or separately by prior arrangement.
In the cottages self-service style Continental Breakfast is included. We place freshly-baked bread, preserves, cheese, cereal, coffee, tea, milk, sugar, and rusks in your unit.
Check-in 14:00 to 18:00 and Check-out 10:00 to 10:30.
The guest who booked and is responsible for payment must send a copy of his/her ID/Passport before arrival.
No additional guests without prior arrangement. Only units 1, 2 and 3 can take ONE extra guest on a matress. Payment for the additional guest must be made prior to arrival. Additional overnight guests will not be allowed on site without prior arrangement.
No day visitors or party guests. Only overnight guests are allowed on the site.
Children are between the ages of 0 and 12 years old.
After 22:00 please reduce noise and music etc.
All units are solar-powered with gas geysers and stoves. Please do not use multiple appliances at once.
Hair dryers may only be used between 07:00 - 09:00 and 19:00 - 21:00 while the generator is running.
Strictly no smoking - Vaping is allowed on the verandas, at the pool, and in braai areas, not indoors.
4 Braai areas are available to all guests on a first-come, first-served basis.
The pool and jacuzzi are shared spaces, please be considerate of other guests.
No white house towels, or blankets etc. from the units are to be taken to the pool. Swimming towels are provided.
No glassware from the cottages at the pool. No glass bottles in the pool please, e.g. beer bottles etc. Broken glass in the pool will necessitate the whole pool to be emptied, cleaned and re-filled at the guest's expense.
Plastic glasses and plates are provided at the pool lapa kitchen.
We have 3 friendly dogs that run freely on the property. Please dont feed them, allow them in the units, or in the pool.
Breakages and loss of articles are for the account of the guest. Guests staying 3 days or longer, will be requested to pay a refundable breakage deposit of R 1 000.00. No articles may be removed from the units whatsoever.
Special Occasions: We gladly assist in making your special occasion even more special. For proposals, wedding parties etc. please contact us prior to your stay to discuss options. We are able to place Sparkling Wine, Cake, Flowers, Chocolates etc. in the unit at a cost.
We offer a complimentary set of toiletries and a welcome chocolate per person on arrival day. The Showers have Shampoo and Conditioner dispensers installed. For your convenience, we offer a packet of Extra-Sensitive Baby Wipes - very effective for ladies to remove their make-up. Please do not remove the packet from the unit and please do not wipe off make-up on the white towels.

Sunset Family Cottage 1 is a spacious, double-storey thatched cottage with sleeping space for 5 adults and 1 baby. The semi-open-plan ground floor with a queen-sized bed and lounge area has a separate toilet and an en-suite open air bathroom. There is a dining area and well-equipped kitchen, with a pantry. Upstairs on the loft landing is a single bed and a private bedroom with a king-sized bed that can be made into twin beds. The en-suite bathroom is fitted with a shower-over-bath, toilet and basin. There is a cot for a baby in the upstairs bedroom. The veranda has a seating area and a dining room table with 6 chairs. The veranda overlooks the Cullinan Diamond Mine‘s dam. The unit has a Smart TV and free Wi-Fi.
