Description
Overlooking the Albert Falls Dam towards the Karkloof hills, Guests need only to relax and be themselves. This farm stay offers a down to earth environment with added comfort and convenience.
The View is a 3 bedroom garden-cottage next to the main residence. Each en-suite bedroom has an entrance from the private veranda, and the various outdoor seating creates a lovely ambiance.
For a family with small children, we recommend combining rooms 2 and 3, which connect via a Jack & Jill bathroom, to create a unit. All rooms have a fan, mosquito gadget, beverage station and fresh water. We provide all linen, towels and shower soap and we cater for our Baby Guests too since they also deserve the full treatment incl a comfy travel cot with mosquito net.
Guests at The View have 24/7 access to Wi-Fi and the indoor entertainment area with a dartboard, full-size snooker table, small library and lounge area with DStv. The kitchen has two fridge-freezers, full gas stove/oven, microwave, toaster, crockery, cutlery, cooking utensils, Nespresso and filter coffee machines (pls bring your own pods/coffee grounds) smoothie maker and Soda Stream (excl syrup). Guests can choose between a built-in wood and gas braai or Weber in the undercover patio, which also sports a TV - a perfect spot in all weather. Pack a swimming costume and enjoy a day or sundowner around the pool, or simply sit and soak up the morning sun or nighttime peace wherever you choose.
Feel free to walk the farm and view a small variety of animals, insects, birds, bats, swallows, and barn owls, which frequently visit, nest or roost near our home. Cast a line into the little dam and who knows what you'll catch.
