Had a wonderful stay! So peaceful! It was our second time at Tiekasfontein and again it didn't disappoint! Lovely pet-friendly accommodation with beautiful scenery. Close enough to Villiersdorp for supplies too.

Food for the soul! My husband, Furbaby and myself had a wonderful weekend away, apart from it being too short! Furbaby absolutely loved the freedom! Did a great walk up the mountain with a fantastic view of Theewaterskloof Dam. We'll definitely go back.

Very peaceful. Lovely place, such a peaceful location. We loved the little pool, it was so refreshing and fun for the kids. The house was fully equipped with everything we needed.

Very nice. Guests should only be warned that the road between the main road and home actually prefers a bakkie or tall SUV. My regular Toyota struggled to drive there.

Well-appointed house in remote location with stunning views Beautiful place all on its own on the mountainside. Well-equipped house with smart interior and sublime views outside of Theewaterskloof Dam a few kilometres below. Loved the wooden walkways leading off in various directions from the house to small tables and chairs with views. Also the rock pool half a minute away. Don't recommend the journey up the jeep track from the road in a small car though - we bashed the undercarriage of our Hyundai i10 a lot, and hard, which was stressful. Also recommend making sure you are clear how you are going to find the house. Google Maps doesn't know it exists and the TravelGround address provided (Caledon St) is nowhere near the property. However once you make it there: a real treat.
