Tortoise Trail Lodge offers both bed and breakfast and self-catering accommodation, and is located in the Long Acres Country Estate in Langebaan. The estate offers spectacular birdlife, and natural wildlife including steenbok, duiker, tortoise and Cape hare around the dam. The estate also has horses and a trout farm.
The lodge offers accommodation in 6 comfortably furnished bed and breakfast rooms and 1 Self-catering Loft Unit. Each room has a double bed and an en-suite bathroom fitted with a shower, basin, and toilet. There is no private kitchen for bed and breakfast rooms available. Each room is equipped with tea- and coffee-making facilities, a TV with selected DStv channels, and a bar fridge.
The self-catering Loft Unit can accommodate 4 guests; the main area is furnished with a double bed and there are 2 single beds in the open loft area. The unit has a bathroom fitted with a shower. In addition, the unit has a kitchenette with a mini-oven with a 2-plate stove, a microwave, a bar fridge, tea- and coffee-making facilities, and crockery and cutlery. There is a dining table with benches and a covered braai area outside.
The lodge offers a free Wi-Fi connection, a communal braai area, a splash pool, and an indoor fireplace. Guests staying in one of the bed and breakfast rooms are treated to a light continental breakfast. Tortoise Trail Lodge also offers safe parking on the premises.
