House Rules

Guests to Troutmere will have complete privacy.
Please note, there is a gravel road leading to the accommodation and is accessible by all vehicle types. Guests are required to enquire about the condition of the road, before arrival, as it could be subject to change due to unforeseen circumstances.
Troutmere is eco-friendly, and electricity is provided by solar panels. A generator is also available for back-up electricity.
Guests are asked to please not bring electric heaters; a gas heater is provided.
Selected DStv channels are available, and to view more DStv channels, guests are welcome to bring their decoder, remote and smart card.
Pets are welcome with prior arrangement, with their own bedding, and a breakage deposit of R500 is required.
A cleaning service is available on request at an additional cost.
Sections of Troutmere are accessed via stairs, and may not be suitable for young children, the elderly, or guests with disabilities.
