Twitchers offers lovely self-catering accommodation in a private cottage with a separate entrance to the owner’s home which is located on a farm 15 km from Pilgrims Rest. This could be a great option to escape the hustle and bustle of the city.

Ideally suited for 2 guests, this free-standing cottage comprises a bedroom furnished with a queen-size bed. A shower, washbasin and toilet are available in the bathroom. All linen and bath towels are provided.

Additionally, this cottage has a cosy living area with a kitchenette equipped with a 2-plate stove, a halogen oven, bar fridge, toaster, cutlery and crockery as well as tea- and coffee-making facilities. Leading from the kitchenette is a 3-seater dining table and a lounge with comfortable seating. Access to free Wi-Fi is available.

Outside, there is a garden space with a table and chairs. Due to this cottage on the edge of a forest, no open fires are allowed; however, a gas grill is provided. During load shedding, there is a solar panel system which will keep the cottage running. Please note the cottage is accessible via steep steps or an easy gravel ramp from the parking area.

The campsite is private with a private ablution fitted with a toilet and gas shower. The campsite does not have electricity. There is a braai facility nearby and a cement table and benches. Guests have access to a private picnic area nearby with a braai alongside a stream.

For those wanting to explore the area, there is an easy walking trail along a small river on the farm and a private picnic spot with braai facilities for guests.
