Description
Wingerdzicht consists of 2 free-standing cottages, Thompson Cottage (sleeps 3) and The Garden Manor (sleeps 8), and is located on a working grape and pecan farm nestled on the banks of the Orange River outside the town of Groblershoop. The farm is within easy reach of the N12 and is the ideal stopover for guests travelling to and from the Kalahari.
The free-standing cottage can accommodate 3 guests and Thompson Cottage comprises a bedroom, bathroom, and an open-plan living area that leads to a kitchen. The air-conditioned bedroom is furnished with a queen-size bed and an en-suite bathroom.
The kitchen is equipped with a fridge-freezer, stove, oven, microwave, and a dining table seating 4 people. The living area has a sleeper couch to accommodate the third guest.
The unit opens onto a patio with a picnic table and braai area where guests can enjoy alfresco meals or a refreshing sundowner. There is a deck set along the river and guests can enjoy a refreshing swim 800 m from the house.
