Very basic, but nice and quiet and peaceful. The place is very 'rustic' and cute. The owners built it themselves. The concept of the bathroom was brilliant, especially the beautiful potted plants, but unfortunately could not shower there due to no water supply. Unfortunately we failed to notice the 'off grid'. There is absolutely no power available in the room, so that was a surprise. Only one lamp worked. The other one's batteries were flat. We were grateful for the upgrade to the larger house. Nice bed with new bedding was quite comfortable. A few suggestions: maybe a mirror, a table with a gas stove with basic provisions to make coffee or tea in the room? Also maybe firelighters and matches for guests to make a fire with? Will be more prepared next time.
