Titanic View - Place of Peace"We visited Clarens as there is always a hype about the town. Some very interesting but tourist-priced shops. Some good restaurants and the food at the Brewery was exceptional for pub food. Maybe we missed something but the town itself was a bit of a disappointment. But we enjoyed the area as the Sandstone mountains are really beautiful, and especially enjoyed the drive through the Maluti mountains around Golden Gate."

Witteberg Cottage"Pragtige klein dorpie. Ongelukkig bitter min vir toeriste om te doen. Daar was geen restaurante oop op die Saterdagoggend nie, wat jammer is want ons moes na 'n naburige dorp gaan vir middagete. Daar is wel 'n staproete buite die dorp, nie stapafstand nie."

Cottage Pie"Very beautiful views, a lot of restaurants and gift shops. Not much to do beyond that in town. More activities around/outside of the town. Some people walk with their dogs without a leash in town and on walking/hiking routes. This is a tourist attraction, so expect to pay tourist rates at the restaurants and gift shops."
