Perfect stay. 48 on Peak. We arrived in the late afternoon at ‘48 on Peak’ – feeling rather bushed after a busy day sightseeing and travelling and were met by the owner and her sweet dog Peppa who gave us a very warm welcome and graciously escorted us to our accommodation. We were delighted to find the accommodation most spacious, perfectly private, beautifully furnished, tastefully decorated, spotlessly clean and fully equipped for self-catering. We noted all the attention to detail that appealed to our artistic sensibilities. The view over Fish Hoek from the large windows is spectacular and we enjoyed the breathtaking sunset. This establishment also sports a large walk-out balcony, has seating and a braai facility for those thus inclined. Importantly, we were able to park our vehicle safely off road. The large bedroom was most comfortable and we appreciated the welcome card and chocolate. A suggestion (though one said with a certain reluctance) is that the bed’s pillows are too opulently stuffed as to make them unsuitable for sleeping. Perhaps a softer stuffed pillow could be provided. The bathroom was perfectly appointed and we took advantage of the hot shower to ease ourselves into relaxation. May I commend the owner and her guest house. We found it by far the best of the many we stayed in all over the Western Cape.

Perfect stayover, lovely and relaxing atmosphere. Pragtige woning met baie mooi uitsig. Ons was vriendelik ontvang en dadelik met aankoms tuis laat voel.

Asemrowend. Rustig. Jip. Besonder lekker plekkie. Eienaar jou welkom en huislik laat voel. Uitstekende ligging met 'n asemrowende uitsig oor die gebied. Verblyf is netjies en mooi.
