Cozy and comfortable. Freezing cold! But the warm fireplace and heaters kept us warm and cozy. We struggled with the hot tub in the icy cold weather, but we made the most of it. It's a pity about the unforeseen WiFi outage, which stopped us from posting on social media and contacting our family and friends. But we will be back .

Thank you for your feedback on your stay. We're glad to hear that you found the cottage cosy and comfortable, and that the fireplace and heaters helped you stay warm during the cold weather. We understand that the wood-fired hot tub might not have been as enjoyable in the cold, but we're happy you were able to make the most of your stay. Regarding the WiFi outage, we apologise for any inconvenience this may have caused. However, as you mentioned, this was a regional fault due to the severe storms experienced in the Western Cape. Unfortunately, these types of outages are beyond our control. We would like to reiterate that guests are advised to pre-load data on their mobile devices as a precaution during their stay, especially during the winter months when weather conditions can be unpredictable. We hope to welcome you back on a warmer day!

Great couples break away. The cottage was amazing and we really enjoyed sitting back and relaxing. The only disappointment was that the built-in hot tub wasn't working. There was a temporary hot tub provided, but it was a bit difficult to get in and out of it. Hopefully next time we will be able to use the built-in one.

Uniek en onvergeetlik. Goeie naand, baie dankie vir die heerlike verblyf. Ons het so lekker gekuier en gerus. 'n Unieke ervaring wat ons sonder twyfel aan familie en vriende sal aanbeveel. Kan julle asb. vir my kyk of daar nie dalk 'n goue armkettinkie in die slaapkamer geval het nie? Dit het êrens met ons getoer verlore geraak.

Baie dankie vir jou vriendelike resensie, Erika! Ons is bly dat julle 'n ontspannende en onvergeetlike verblyf gehad het, en ons waardeer jul aanbeveling opreg. Ons streef daarna om 'n unieke ervaring vir al ons gaste te bied. Met betrekking tot die vermiste item, ons verstaan hoe belangrik dit is. Ons huishouding personeel het die kamer deeglik skoon gemaak, maar daar is ongelukkig geen armband gevind nie. Ons hoop dat julle die misplaasde item opspoor.

Onvergeetlike ervaring. Southern Bell Cottage was baie netjies, gerieflik en het alles wat ons nodig gehad het. Die plaas het pragtige uitsigte op die berge met die mooiste sonsondergange, en baie paadjies vir draf/stap. Die bestuur was baie vriendelik en hulpvaardig. Ons het elke oomblik daar geniet en sal vir seker terug wees!

Great for a couple looking for a quiet place to relax. Was an overall great experience. The cottages are situated just outside of Tulbagh but in close proximity to the surrounding wine farms which is great. Can recommend it for a couple looking for a weekend away to enjoy nature and wine.

Wat 'n ongelooflike wegbreek. Ons het die wegbreek baie geniet, ongelooflike diens en perfek vir 'n romantiese naweek weg. Die piekniek wat mens ekstra kan by vat, is ongelooflik en dis die beste plek vir 'n bietjie rus vir die siel.
