Thank you for allowing me the opportunity to address your concerns and provide feedback on your stay with us. You booked our upstairs self-catering guest suite, which is prominently advertised as having stairs. This unit offers ample space, exceeding 50 m2, ideal for accommodating two guests.
Upon arrival, you expressed difficulty with the stairs due to age, particularly with your husband being over 80. Although the choice of booking an upstairs unit was yours, we empathetically offered to relocate you to the ground level of our main house, providing three times more space than the guest suite, all at no extra cost. Regrettably, your acknowledgment of our efforts to accommodate you was absent in your feedback.
Furthermore, we facilitated assistance with your luggage both upstairs and during the transition to the main house. Our guest suite is equipped with amenities such as a coffee plunger, complimentary tea, coffee, filter coffee, milk, and rusks upon check-in. My glass display cabinet is fully stocked with wine, whiskey, juice and beer glasses, so the fact that these did not meet your expectations does not mean we do not stock them. Regarding the ironing board, any marks present are likely from previous guests, and we are more than willing to replace the cover if necessary.
It is unfortunate that your experience with us left you feeling dissatisfied, despite our best efforts to meet your needs. We understand that our property may not be suitable for everyone, especially those with mobility constraints, and we encourage thorough consideration of the advertised amenities before booking.
Our property boasts a private courtyard, adequately spacious for seating four guests, along with additional amenities like an outdoor hot shower and laundry facilities, as depicted in our listed pictures. Moreover, guests are welcome to enjoy our expansive 1200 m2 garden upon request.
While the toiletries provided may not have met your specific preferences, we take pride in offering high-quality Woolworths hand/body liquid soap, well-received by our previous guests.
We made every effort to enhance your stay by providing complimentary cleaning services, weekly linen changes, and regular check-ins from our property manager, all at no extra cost. Unfortunately, it seems our efforts fell short of your expectations.
