Blue Space Beach House & Beach Shack is situated across the road from the sea in Pumula, on KwaZulu-Natal's South Coast, and offers guests unique accommodation in a 12 m converted container-inspired holiday house and a beautifully designed wooden beach shack, both with amazing sea views. Both the Beach House and Beach Shack are situated on the same residential property where the owners reside.
Blue Space Beach House is a converted shipping container joined to an open-plan beach house consisting of 2 en-suite bedrooms, a kitchen and living area. Each bedroom is furnished with a double-bed and en-suite bathrooms with showers. There is a set of kids bunk-beds in the living area, ideal for 2 children.
The kitchen is equipped with a gas stove with oven, a fridge, toaster and a microwave. The living area is equipped with a three-seater couch, 2 casual lounge chairs, a TV with Netflix and DStv and free Wi-Fi. There are two lovely double french doors that open out onto the verandah to your own garden. Outside furniture includes a six-seater table with bench and chairs, a hammock, portable braai and a firepit in the garden.
Blue Space Beach Shack is an open-plan, beautifully designed wooden cabin that features 2 bedrooms of which 1 is furnished with a double-bed and the other bedroom with 2 single-beds. Both bedrooms share a full bathroom with a clear roof shower. The kitchen is equipped with a gas stove , fridge, toaster, microwave and breakfast nook with a view to die for.
The lounge is equipped with a two-seater couch, a comfortable chair, a TV with Netflix and free Wi-Fi. Double French doors open out onto the balcony. The balcony has a table, chairs and the most beautiful 180-degree sea view. Your own built-in braai area is down the stairway under a large shady tree.
Both units are supplied with bed linen, extra blankets, bath towels, and toiletries. Guests must please bring their own beach towels, charcoal and wood.
Parking is available for 4 vehicles, 2 vehicles per unit. There is a lovely swimming pool and a small playground for children on the property.
Blue Space is situated on a dead-end road with just 6 houses on it. There are 3 pathways that lead directly to the beach which offers great fishing, surfing and swimming spots as well as plenty of beautiful natural rock pools that children can explore. The KwaZulu-Natal South Coast is known as the Hibiscus Coast. The closest local shops are in Hibberdene or Umtentweni, which are both 11 km away, however, there are 3 local Superettes just minutes away.
