Perfect getaway. 2nd time there and is always a blast. Peaceful, quiet, rustic cottage. Perfect getaway. Not too far from Robertson so you can still go explore. Will definitely go back again.

Baie mooi en veilig. Ons gesin het saam met vriende by Buitenstekloof kom kuier, ons het in "Baboons gift" gebly en die dak lek, die krag hou nie lank nie maak nie saak hoe spaarsaamig jy is met dit nie. Die warm water vir stort is ook 'n probleem.

Jorrie, dankie vir jou terugvoer. Ons is bly julle het die stilte en mooi natuurskoon geniet. Ons sal beslis aandag gee aan die aspekte wat gepla het, maar vra asb dat ons gaste ons onmiddellik laat weet as daar 'n probleem is tydens hulle verblyf, sodat ons dit dadelik kan regstel. Lovely stay. Lovely, quiet place to stay. All amenities as mentioned. Wood for the hot tub was wet though and definitely not enough to heat the tub in winter.

Thank you for your review, Bernadette! We are glad that you enjoyed your stay. We have already taken steps to heat the hot tubs more efficiently during these cold winter months, by supplying each hot tub with a lid, as almost 65% of the heat is lost from the top. Depending on your needs, we always have more wood for sale and available - we recently bought Rooikrans which is by far the most popular braai wood the Western Cape, and will also improve the efficiency of heating up the hot tub.
