Baie teleurgesteld. Ongelukkig nie. Daar was nie genoeg plek vir veilige parkering nie. Ons moes met groot moeite skuins probeer in ry teen 'n teeroppervlak met skerpe punte, met die gevolg dat ons 2x voorbande moes vervang. Daar is aangebied om voor hulle voertuig te parkeer, maar eers nadat ons nie in die straat wou parkeer nie. Dit was hulle oplossing vir die probleem. Ons was 8 nagte tuis en niemand het skoon linne aangebied of die plek skoon gemaak nie. Skuins voor die slaapkamer in die straat was daar gewerk aan 'n stukkende motor wat met tye uiters steurend was. Het glad nie veilig gevoel nie.

Sorry to see that these guests were disappointed with their stay. Regarding the parking situation - I agree, our off-street parking is a little tight, especially for very large vehicles. We did our best to accommodate these guests by allowing them to park in the main house's secure parking area, which we thought was a satisfactory solution. Our cottage is cleaned and linen is changed once a week. As the guests stayed for eight nights, we felt it would have been impractical to change the linen for only one night. We were unaware of the noise in the street - it's a pity that we were not alerted to this as we would have contacted the police. We were shocked to read that these guests did not feel safe. The cottage is fully alarmed (24-hour surveillance cameras), all windows have burglar bars, there is a security gate at the front as well as an electric gate across the driveway. I'm not sure how much more security would be required to satisfy these guests?

AWESOME. Best experience we had, ever. Liz and Eugene are the best hosts. This little cottage has everything you need and more. From the minute we walked in we felt so welcome. We also had a sundowner with them. Awesome verby!

We so enjoyed meeting you and having you stay in our cottage - pity it was only for four days! You were perfect guests who left the cottage in perfect condition. Looking forward to welcoming you back to our little bit of paradise!
