Very neat and quiet. We travelled for a wedding, stayed in Seaview at a place which the photos did not do any justice. Early in the morning, we headed out to Baywest and started searching. Deer Park came up, and the ratings and photos did do justice for the accommodation. We were able to check in from twelve; it was compact but had everything and more that you will need. We had a good night's rest in the pin-drop quietness. Thanks again, it was great to be able to stay over after our first night's experience at the first location.

Would have been doubly as happy at half the price, expensive for what you get. Beautiful location and very nice room, but attention to small details and the minimum expectations for a room that costs R800 per night was lacking. The fridge is very small and the freezer compartment was over-frozen, leaving little space to freeze and also decreasing the already limited fridge space. The braai was dirty and had empty beer cans from previous guests. No fresh milk, only 3 sachets of Cremora and enough coffee for one person to have one cup. Had no interaction with the host, only saw the cleaner. The outside light at the braai kept dimming. The lowest point was the worst pillows I have ever experienced in any accommodation. Based on our experience, it would be value for money if it was R400 per night. Available channels on the TV were also disappointing; nice TV but nothing to watch. The cost per room created higher expectations, and I was disappointed at the lack of value. I have stayed in places for half the price that had great linen, filter coffee, fresh milk, water, and an attentive host, so either lower the cost or improve the service and amenities for a more realistic expectation and to avoid disappointment.

Voldoende. Voldoende vir 'n oornagplek, maar sal nie aanbeveel vir vakansiebestemming nie. Die kamer is ongelooflik warm en daar is slegs 'n staanwaaier. Vensters is so geleë dat daar nie lugbeweging is wanneer vensters en deur oop is nie.

Oulike plekkie. Oulike en netjiese plekkie vir 'n oornag. Bure het bietjie geraas, maar algeheel lekker gebly.

It was a lovely and peaceful stay. Our stay was lovely; we experienced an unexpected power cut; however, the owner managed to find a solution for us. The place is very quiet and relaxing. It's a good spot if you want to get away from a busy city.

Relaxed. It was good, very peaceful, just needed some better entertainment for TV. But otherwise everything was beautiful and clean.

Neat, tidy & comfortable. Very comfortable, a towel rail in the bathroom would be helpful, and some hangers to hang shirts.
