Relaxing, warm, beautiful! It was very comfortable and lovely and warm with the fireplace going the whole time. Wood is provided and that was a bonus as it was very cold so the fire was on constantly. The panoramic views of the valley were just stunning even in the rainiest of weather and lots of space for the kids to run around on the lush lawns in front of the house when the sun came out for a bit. The rooms were spacious and the beds were comfy with lots of blankets and towels for all of us.

Amazing. Value for money. It was amazing. The scenery was absolutely beautiful. There was more than enough firewood. The cottage was clean and well-maintained. The indoor fireplace helped as it was very windy. Would definitely recommend.

Peaceful and very intimate. My wife and I enjoyed the stay at Hermanuspietersfontein Cottages very much. It was quiet and very peaceful. The cottage was very clean and well equipped.

A incredible break definitely worth the money! All in all an incredible holiday! It was absolutely incredible. Hosts were incredibly welcoming. Location was gorgeous!

Heerlike natuur wegbreek met al die geriewe nodig! Heerlike wegbreek in die natuur, stap- en fietsryroetes op die plaas en in die omgewing, met Stanford net om die draai! Sal beslis in die toekoms weer oorweeg!

Picturesque, tranquil, space for adventure. We greatly enjoyed the stay. The surroundings are magically beautiful and the cottage is accommodating and cosy.

A lovely stay. A really lovely place to visit. Perhaps better in summer or spring when you can enjoy being outside more and could enjoy the hiking. It rained heavily while we were there (June).
