House Rules
Wi-Fi tickets that are available: R50 for 1GB or R35 for 512MB. But the first ticket is free of charge.
Any outstanding balances toward your reservation must be deposited in full, 5 working days prior to arrival.
PLEASE NOTE: Maximum of 2 adults + 2 children <13yrs allowed.
• NO parties, functions or events, unless it has been arranged with management.
• NO pets allowed, no matter how well behaved, the size or age.
• NO loud music allowed.
• NO music after 22h00.
• NO shooting, including air guns.
• NO day visitors, unless prior arrangements were made & agreed on with management.
• NO motor- or quad bikes allowed on the farm and the trails – only as a means of transport to and from cottages.
• NO smoking inside the units.
• Please refrain from moving utensils and/or furniture between the units.
• Linen & towels are provided in the units, but own swimming towels are required.
• We occasionally have problems with baboons & vervet monkeys entering the cottages. Please keep all windows closed when leaving the cottages.
• PLEASE DO NOT FEED THE BABOONS OR MONKEYS.
• Please leave the cottage the way you found it.
• Please deposit full garbage bags in outside bins provided at each cottage. Cleaning staff will remove bags when they service the units, but sometimes there might be an overflow during weekends. Please ensure that baboons/monkeys/other animals would not be able to get into it.
• Swimming, hiking, kayaking and mountain bike activities are done at own risk. Parental guidance advised at all times.
• This is a working dairy and macadamia nut farm. We do have flies in the area. Fly management control at the cottages include:
Battery operated Ultramatic chemical fly spray.
Fans in all units – flies do not like wind. Especially handy in kitchen area.
Battery operated Shoo Away fly repellent.
• Libertas Guest Farm is entitled to charge guests for damages relating to the use of the facility – this may include but is not limited to: breakages, loss of property and damage to the lawn/surrounding environment.
• Individuals presenting offensive and/or unlawful behaviour, will be evicted from the property.
• Libertas Guest Farm is not responsible for any losses caused by fire or theft.
• The use of any of the establishment’s facilities is entirely at your own risk.
The user/guest indemnifies Libertas Guest Farm for any claim relating to the direct or indirect use the property facilities.
• The management of Libertas Guest Farm has the right to take
appropriate action without notification in case of any emergency situation.
• The management of Libertas Guest Farm has the right to move
any guest to a unit of the same standard without any notification.
• Emergency numbers will be available in the information booklet in the cottage.
• We are not responsible for any personal items left behind.
Lost items will be kept for 30 days only. We are not responsible for any items left behind. To retrieve lost items, guests will have to collect personally, arrange a courier service at their own cost or items may be sent via Pudo (after payment has been received for this service).
• A charge will be added to guests’ accounts for late departure. Please ensure that all windows are closed, curtains are drawn and that all doors have been locked. The keys should be left in the key safe after the alarm has been set.
• CANCELLATION DUE TO WEATHER CONDITIONS:
Please note that Libertas Guest Farm cannot be held liable for unforeseen weather conditions. All bookings are made without weather conditions pending. Should you wish to cancel due to weather conditions, it will be treated as a normal cancellation. We will do our best in assisting the guest to find a replacement booking for the period. However, this cannot be guaranteed. Thank you for understanding.
• Deposit payments to be paid 3 days (72hours) after a booking has been made,
either online or directly with Libertas Guest Farm. If no deposit (50%) payment is made, the establishment reserves the right to cancel the booking.
• Final payments to be paid 3-5 working days prior to check-in.
• Gate codes & check-in arrangements: gate codes and check-in arrangements will be sent along with all other information prior to the booking guests’ stay date.
It is the booking guest/visitor’s responsibility to share the information with all other guests staying with them.
