Authentic Karoo farm experience. Our stay at Matjiesvlei was a wonderful experience! The silence and the stars of the Karoo can't be described in words. The hostess was very friendly and sent directions beforehand. She welcomed us and directed us to the cottage, which was sparkling clean. There was coffee and rusks, and cold water in the fridge. We used the outside braai - there is also a fireplace inside the cottage. We enjoyed the fresh Karoo air and the beautiful view. The sunset was absolutely amazing. We can really recommend Matjiesvlei and we hope to be back!
