Superlative in all respects.

Unfortunately we booked for only one night at this delightful venue. A very lovely apartment with superb river and garden views, surrounded by beautiful Strelitzia flowers. Our hosts were welcoming and very kind indeed, extending to us the kind of hospitality normally associated with good friends. Thank you!

Beautiful secluded river view.

A lovely stay with a beautiful view of the river and wildlife. It's quiet and secluded, an ideal spot for a quiet getaway. The room comes equipped with everything you need.

Nice.

We enjoyed our stay over. We had a braai outside where there was wood and fire lighters provided. The unit had everything you'd need, such as washing powder and shower gel. The rusks were delicious, the host was friendly and very responsive, and the view was spectacular.

Very neat and clean accommodations.

Attention to details, small details were thought of, muffins freshly made and left for us as a treat, there was a washing machine for our comfort, close to the sea, short walk, nice little "town" away from the busy life.

A true gem.

A lovely place to stay: everything you need and more is thought of. It is very clean and nicely decorated. The view is magnificent. It is very quiet. It is a nice walk to the beach.

Peaceful, inviting.

We arrived to a neat and pretty flat, with everything you could need. Add to that an awesome host, and gorgeous views. We will definitely stay at Riverbend again!

Perfect getaway!

Our stay at Riverbend was perfect. Nice location, clean and well-equipped flat, and very friendly host! Definitely want to go back.

Only 30 minutes from East London, so convenient for our needs. Beautiful setting on the river close to beach.

Bird life was amazing and we were only sitting on the stoep. The apartment was perfectly suited to our needs for a short stay. Kidds beach was lovely to walk along and I am sure in summer we would have been swimming.
