Description
South Sands Strand Villa No. 1 is a self-catering holiday unit located in a secure complex in the small South Coast village of Munster, Glenmore Beach. The unit offers uninterrupted sea views from the deck, and on some days guests may spot dolphins or even whales playing in the ocean.
The unit accommodates 6 guests and features 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The main bedroom is furnished with a queen-size bed and an en-suite bathroom with a shower-over-bath, and is located on the upper level. The lower level has 2 bedrooms, each furnished with 2 single beds. These two bedrooms share a bathroom with a shower-over-bath and both open onto a lower patio.
The upper level of the unit features a well-equipped kitchen and living area. Both the living area and the main bedroom lead out onto a wooden deck with stunning sea views. The kitchen is equipped with two fridge-freezers, a stove, microwave, kettle, air fryer, crockery and cutlery, and much more. The unit has a smart TV with Netflix, Showmax, and DStv Premium. Additional amenities include a washing machine, dishwasher, portable Weber braai, and a safe suitable for laptops and firearms. The unit also has essential air conditioning in the living area, which cools the main bedroom as well.
The unit offers unlimited Wi-Fi with a router on UPS, ensuring connectivity during load shedding. Battery backup also keeps the TV and a light in the living room operational. Emergency load-shedding light bulbs are installed in all bedrooms, along with solar-powered outdoor lights. The complex is equipped with water tanks to supply water if required.
There are ceiling fans in the living area and all bedrooms. A baby safety gate is available to keep young children safe on the stairs. A cleaning service can be arranged at an additional cost.
The beach is just 40 m from the gate, and the main swimming beach is approximately 100 m from the unit. The main beach is child-friendly and protected by shark nets, with lifeguards on duty during peak times. On the opposite side of the lagoon, there is a beautiful natural walking trail offering majestic views of the sea and beaches on both sides. Fishing is permitted in this area with a valid permit, so be sure to bring your fishing gear.
The complex is very secure and fitted with an electric fence. The unit itself is equipped with an alarm system linked to armed response, security doors, solar-powered outdoor lights, and emergency light bulbs in all rooms.
Please note that the accommodation is accessed via stairs and is not suitable for elderly guests or guests with disabilities. The unspoilt views are well worth every step.
