A beautiful cabin stay in the heart of the Stellenbosch wine valley. Our stay at The Log Cabin was magnificent. Kobus and his team tended to our every need and went above and beyond to make our stay special and comfortable. Kobus even arranged some live music entertainment for our first evening at the cabin, which paired perfectly with a delicious dinner prepared by his in-house chef. We will definitely return!

Heerlik en ongelooflike diens! The Log Cabin se diens en verblyf was fantasties. Ek het spesifiek in die Heaven Cottage gebly en dit was perfek. Netjies, skoon en baie stylvol. Ek sal ook beslis die "braai experience" aanbeveel wat The Log Cabin aanbied, dit is die moeite werd!

Nice. Very nice, however not quite as advertised. The swimming pool is fenced off and the jacuzzi is in that area, so not easily accessible. The Braai is actually attached to the restaurant, so not usable at all. Rooms were decent. WiFi is not stable enough to do a Teams meeting.

Hello Nick, thank you for the feedback. We are sorry to read that your experience was not as expected, but unfortunately, according to law, the swimming pool area needs to be fenced. It is not locked and all guests have easy access from all directions to use the swimming pool and hot tub as and when desired. We do have a Weber available for the apartment where you stayed, to use if you did not want to make use of the braai at the main deck, next to our restaurant area, that is closed off and completely private. I am sorry if this was not made clear upon your inquiry. Living in the valley, most of the establishments have an issue with strong WiFi signal, especially in bad weather. I wish it could be different, but we have accepted it over time and use our free time to enjoy nature and the scenery. Kind regards, Hélène

It was OK but there are two criticisms: servicing of the room was poor and very limited breakfast time. Our apartment was only cleaned once in a week, beds only made up once. Limited breakfast time between 08:30 and 09:30 is not convenient. There should be more emergency lights for load shedding.

Good morning, Thank you for the feedback, and as management, we do apologise for the inconvenience. Breakfast is served from 08:00 to 10:00, at the time that suits the guest. If this was stated otherwise, I apologise and will take it up with the staff on duty. Daily Room service, for long stays, is available upon request from the guest, by hanging the sign on the outside of the door. If not, we do a bedding change once per week. If no sign is displayed, we accept that the guest does not require room service. Regarding emergency lights, we are working on extending our backup system.
