Wonderful, relaxing. It was wonderful. We loved the house. It was comfortable and nicely designed to enjoy every kind of weather. We liked the layout and it was just big enough for us as a family. The garden was nice for the children to play ball games. The pool was an absolute asset to the house. A note on the pool: the step in with the ledge is confusing, more so when you get out of the pool. It is hazardous as people think it's a step to get out, but it's not. If I could recommend that something be adjusted to the design, or complete this design as it seems incomplete. There is something up with the TV. From time to time the screen would be covered in colourful lines, but still have the sound on.

Disappointed. The TV stopped working after the first day. WiFi barely worked after the first day. No air cons in the rooms. Very hot upstairs and impossible to get a good night's sleep in the summer heat. No water on Sunday morning (municipal issue). On Sunday morning, a gentleman entered the property to carry out services after we were told that we needed to be out by 16:00, which was an invasion of privacy and spoiled my wife's birthday.

Dear Anthony, thank you for your feedback. We replaced the TV the very next week with a brand new Samsung. It is unfortunate that it broke while you stayed at Treestone. However, upon hearing of the issue, we immediately offered you another flatscreen TV at the time and you declined the offer. We could not find any problem with the WiFi - perhaps it was a service outage at that stage. Regarding air cons, we have not advertised any as amenities, and it is the guest’s prerogative to decide if something like this is needed or not, and book accordingly. One can indeed open all the windows and doors on the 3rd level of the house. The municipality closed off water and it was not communicated to us that they were working in the area. We apologise for this inconvenience. The gentleman you referred to is Moffet, our guest’s personal housekeeper included for free in their booking price. However, we didn’t ask him to go that day and he did so of his own volition. We are deeply sorry about this. Please note that we did not change our gift offer of a late check out at 16:00 (instead of the stipulated 10:00). It was your own decision to leave earlier.
